(Interviewer) What inspired your journey into music?

(Becky) I’ve been singing and songwriting since I was 15 years old, it was my way of expressing myself and my feelings as I wasn’t very good at communicating when I was younger. It suddenly became a huge part of my life. I picked up a guitar and never looked back.

(Interviewer) As a newly signed artist, how does it feel to be a part of this record label, and what are your aspirations for your musical career moving forward?

(Becky) It feels incredible to be part of a label and team! I am looking forward to really working hard on my new ep along side Rusty and the record label.

(Interviewer) Who are some of your biggest musical influences, and how have they shaped your artistic style and approach to creating music?

(Becky) When I started singing and playing guitar Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne were my most favourite singers. These days I really enjoy listening to Tate McRae and Maggie Lindermann. I love all styles of music and enjoy creating music in all forms of genres, As long as it’s unique and has passion. I need to feel the music.

(Interviewer) Can you share with us the story behind your latest single?

(Becky) My newest single Home is a collaboration with artist & producer RUSTY. The song is inspired from a personal experience that happened to me and my love ones. Home holds a special place in my heart and i cannot wait for everyone to hear it. I hope it touches everybody that listens to it.

(Interviewer) And lastly what can fans expect from your upcoming projects, and do you have any exciting collaborations or performances in the works?

(Becky) We are in the works of creating an ep which will be out mid 2024 which is exciting. I have been working with RUSTY on a couple of ideas and some amazing produces from Canada called Nodium Beats. 2024 is looking amazing!

We here at Sunlit Records are super excited to be part of Becky’s journey going forward and we cannot wait for the world to hear this ep later this year.
